What is NESTLÉ Pre Nan HMF?
Nestlé Pre Nan HMF (human milk fortifier) is a breast milk fortifier for low birth weight or premature newborns.
Pre NAN Human Milk Fortifier is a hypoallergenic breast milk supplement specially designed to improve the nutritional composition of breast milk following the ESPGHAN 2010 nutritional guidelines for feeding low birth weight or premature infants.
It is obtained from enzymatically hydrolyzed serum proteins, dextrinomaltose, medium-chain triglycerides, mineral salts and vitamins.
Pre Nan HMF contributes to the growth of low birth weight newborns so that they can achieve retention rates similar to those they would obtain in the mother's womb.
Supplementing breast milk with energy and protein has been shown to improve rates of weight and length gain.

Partially and enzymatically hydrolyzed whey proteins, dextrinomaltose, medium chain triglycerides (MCT), mineral salts (calcium glycerophosphate, potassium hydroxide, calcium phosphate, potassium iodide, manganese sulfate, sodium selenate, ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, cupric sulfate, sodium hydroxide, magnesium chloride, calcium chloride, sodium citrate and sodium chloride), rapeseed oil, vitamins (C, E, B3, B5, A, B2, B1, B6, folic acid, K, D, biotin and B12), fish oil (DHA), acidity regulator (citric acid), choline, inositol, L-carnitine and taurine.
