Thanks to its unique combination of 3 ingredients: Trehalose, Hyaluronic Acid and D-panthenol, TREHAPAN offers comfort and hydration to the surface of the eye.

TREHAPAN is indicated for all patients with dry eye with symptoms such as: dry eyes, burning or tired eyes, which can be caused by: spending a long time in heated or air-conditioned areas, prolonged use of screens, tobacco smoke; irritation of the ocular surface as a result of the use of contact lenses.

TREHAPAN® does not contain preservatives or phosphates, is compatible with contact lenses and comes in an easy-to-use 10 ml container.

Trehalose: is an osmoprotectant produced naturally by different organisms (non-mammalian). It has been identified as a key component of protection against stress situations related to anhydrobiosis (practically complete dehydration). Due to its strong protective properties, trehalose has been used in ophthalmological preparations as a substance that prevents stress associated with dehydration of the ocular surface, a consequence, among others, of dry eye disease. 1, 2

Hyaluronic acid (HA): a natural polysaccharide commonly known for its highly hydrating properties.1 HA possesses unique mucoadhesive properties: it can create a specific interaction with the mucin layer, increasing the residence time of the ocular surface. 3

D-panthenol: is an analogue of pantothenic acid, also known by its name vitamin B5, a water-soluble vitamin. Due to its hygroscopic properties and retention capacity, topical application of D-panthenol improves hydration, prevents dryness of the epithelium and maintains the integrity of the ocular surface. 1 D-panthenol accelerates the healing of post-operative wounds of the cornea and conjunctiva.

Instructions for use of VISUfarma Trehapan Eye Drops 10ml

The recommended dose is 1 drop in the conjunctival sac 3 times a day.
