Its palatable chewable formulation with a vanilla scent makes administration easy and acceptable for cats, and the 3-tablet presentation offers protection for several months. Directions for Use Administer orally once a month, preferably with food or within 30 minutes of feeding; one 12 mg tablet is suitable for cats weighing 0.5–2.0 kg. Also, treat the environment and other pets in the household as needed to prevent reinfestation. Precautions Do not use in cats hypersensitive to the active ingredient or excipients; its use has been evaluated in kittens from 8 weeks and ≥0.5 kg, so consult a veterinarian before treating younger or lighter kittens. Wash hands after handling, and in case of accidental ingestion by humans, seek medical advice with the product packaging or label. Very rarely, vomiting has been reported, usually transient.
