Breast milk is the ideal food for infants, and proper nutrition for the mother is essential. If breastfeeding is not possible, infant formula can be used after consulting a pediatrician.
Novalac AC can be used as the sole source of nutrition until the baby is 6 months old. After 6 months, and in consultation with the pediatrician, Novalac AC can be incorporated into a progressively diversified diet.
Novalac AC should be used under medical supervision and only in infants who present symptoms for which it is indicated.
Do not change formulas without the advice of your pediatrician.
The proteins in Novalac AC are derived from cow's milk. Novalac AC should not be administered in cases of cow's milk protein allergy, galactosemia, and/or glucose-galactose malabsorption. Infants and children with allergies, premature babies, low birth weight babies, or immunosuppressed children should be evaluated by a pediatrician beforehand.
This product should not be administered parenterally.

Indications

Novalac AC is a formula specially designed for the dietary management of infants with colic. Novalac AC is a formula with reduced lactose content to minimize and reduce gas and bloating (colic).
