Why is it always combined with vitamin C?

Vitamin C is very potent but very unstable. Oxidises rapidly with air, light and heat. Ferulic acid lowers pH and stabilises it chemically, keeping it active longer. Can multiply the joint antioxidant efficacy up to eight times.

How long does it take to work?

Protective effect immediate. Visible effects (radiance, anti-ageing) at 4-8 weeks. Reduction of dark spots and structural anti-ageing: 12-16 weeks.

Preferably morning before SPF. Neutralises oxidative damage from UV, pollution and visible light. Also usable at night.

Does it have side effects?

Hardly any. Excellent tolerance. No photosensitisation. Some 15-20% vitamin C formulas may sting at the start on reactive skin, but ferulic acid is not the cause.

Which actives combine with it?

Synergistic with vitamin C, vitamin E, niacinamide, resveratrol. Compatible with almost all actives. Apply before retinol or separate morning/night.
