Beaphar Canishield Antiparasitic Collar for large dogs (65 cm) is an adjustable black collar that gradually releases deltamethrin to create a barrier on the skin: it protects against fleas (16 weeks), ticks (6 months), and sandflies (5 1/2 months); fleas die within 24 hours and ticks and sandflies within 48 hours.

It is odorless, water-resistant against occasional contact, and acts non-systemically, so the substance is not absorbed into the animal's bloodstream.

Easy to use: place it leaving space for two fingers between the neck and the collar and cut the excess leaving 5 cm; the collar includes a safety system that releases under high pressure.

Important precautions: do not use on puppies under 7 weeks or on cats; use during pregnancy or lactation only under veterinary supervision; do not combine with ectoparasiticides containing organophosphates and prevent dogs wearing the collar from entering water bodies due to toxicity to aquatic organisms.
