The Boehringer Frontline Combo for Cats includes 6 spot-on pipettes (0.5 ml each) of external antiparasitic formulated with fipronil and (S)-metoprene to eliminate fleas, ticks, and lice, and to prevent the development of eggs, larvae, and pupae by interrupting their lifecycle.

Each pipette begins to act within a few hours and provides up to 4 weeks of protection against fleas and 2 weeks against ticks; it also has ovicidal and larvicidal effects that help sanitize the environment. Suitable for cats and ferrets (as specified) and can be used on pregnant and lactating females.

Directions for Use

Apply topically by parting the hair until the skin is visible, preferably at the base of the neck between the shoulders; open the pipette, place the tip on the skin, and empty the contents in a single spot; repeat once a month as needed and avoid bathing the animal for at least 48 hours after application.

Precautions

Do not use on kittens under 8 weeks old or weighing less than 1 kg; do not administer to ferrets under 6 months; avoid use in rabbits; in case of excessive ingestion or unusual reactions, contact a veterinarian; apply only on healthy skin and keep out of reach of children.
