Fatro Fiprosmet 50 Mg/60 Mg for Cats 6 Pipettes FIPROSMET is a topical antiparasitic solution in pipettes for cats and ferrets, combining 50 mg of Fipronil and 60 mg of (S)-Metoprene per 0.5 ml pipette, providing effective protection against fleas, ticks, and biting lice. Its adulticidal action against fleas persists for up to 4 weeks, and its ovicidal and larvicidal activity inhibits the development of eggs, larvae, and pupae for up to 6 weeks, helping to control infestations and parasitic reproduction in the environment. Indicated for the treatment of infestations caused by fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.), ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus), and biting lice (Felicola subrostratus). In cats, it offers persistent acaricidal activity for up to 2 weeks against ticks; in ferrets, the acaricidal activity can last up to 4 weeks. Each box contains 6 topical application (spot-on) pipettes. How to Use Apply one 0.5 ml pipette directly onto the skin at a point at the base of the neck, parting the fur until the skin is visible; hold the pipette upright, break the tip, and squeeze several times to empty the contents onto the skin; repeat every 4 weeks as needed based on the animal’s weight. Precautions Do not use in puppies under 8 weeks of age or in animals weighing less than 1 kg; avoid use in rabbits; do not apply to sick or convalescent animals; transient skin reactions at the application site, salivation if the animal licks, and rarely nervous signs or vomiting may occur; strictly follow the product’s instructions and consult a veterinarian if any adverse reactions occur.
