Gaviscon Forte chewable tablets for heartburn relief are designed for adults and adolescents over 12 who experience acid reflux, such as burning in the chest after meals or during pregnancy. The formula combines alginate with antacids to form a protective layer on top of stomach contents and reduce acid reaching the oesophagus.

• Provides short-term relief from mild heartburn, acid indigestion and reflux-related burning in the chest.
• Forms a physical barrier that floats on top of stomach contents to limit acid rising into the oesophagus.
• Contains sodium alginate, which reacts with gastric acid to create a thick gel raft over the stomach contents.
• Includes sodium bicarbonate and calcium carbonate, which work as antacids to partially neutralise excess stomach acid.
• Chewable tablet format, convenient to take without water after meals or at bedtime, with an easy-to-adjust dose within the recommended limits.
