One bead of NuaEPA 1200 contains approx. 1,240 mg of EPA 'as triglyceride' (that is, including the vehicle to which the EPA is attached and which facilitates its assimilation). However, discounting said vehicle, there would be about 1,200 mg of free or pure/pearl EPA.

The incorporation of an omega-3 acid into our body through a supplement requires that the fatty acid in question (e.g. EPA) be attached to a 'vehicle'.
