Pestigon Perros 134 mg by Karizoo is a spot-on antiparasitic solution in a box of 24 pipettes (1.34 ml) designed for dogs weighing 10–20 kg. Each pipette contains 134 mg of fipronil and provides immediate insecticidal effect against fleas (protection against new infestations of adult fleas for up to 8 weeks) and variable acaricidal efficacy: Ixodes ricinus up to 2 weeks, Rhipicephalus sanguineus up to 3 weeks, and Dermacentor reticulatus up to 4 weeks; if ticks are already present, it may take up to a week for complete elimination.
Administer one pipette per dog by parting the hair between the shoulder blades and applying the contents directly on the skin in one or two spots along the back; this prevents the animal from licking the treated area and from licking each other until it is dry. Do not use in puppies under 8 weeks old, in cats, in sick or convalescent animals, or in animals hypersensitive to fipronil or any excipients; avoid contact with the eyes, wash hands after use, and consult a veterinarian if in doubt.
