Pestigon Dogs 268 mg is an external spot-on antiparasitic from Laboratorios Karizoo designed for dogs weighing 20–40 kg; each box contains 24 pipettes of 2.68 ml with 268 mg of fipronil per pipette. It acts quickly against fleas (immediate insecticidal effect and protection against new infestations for up to 8 weeks) and provides variable acaricidal efficacy: Ixodes ricinus up to 2 weeks, Rhipicephalus sanguineus up to 3 weeks, and Dermacentor reticulatus up to 4 weeks — if ticks are already present, they may take up to a week to completely disappear.
Application involves 1–2 spots along the back, parting the hair and depositing the product directly on the skin; avoid licking until dry. Do not use on dogs under 20 kg, puppies less than 8 weeks old, sick animals, or cats. Do not apply on wounds; wash your hands after use and avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
