Ultra-Levura 250mg capsules are an over-the-counter probiotic medicine containing Saccharomyces boulardii, used for the symptomatic treatment of acute diarrhoea in adults and children over 2 years. This 10-capsule blister pack is convenient to keep at home or take when travelling.
- Used for short-term relief of acute, non-specific diarrhoea in adults and children over 2 years, when there are no warning signs such as high fever or blood in the stool.
- Contains the probiotic yeast Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745, which supports restoration of the balance of intestinal flora when it has been disturbed.
- Can be taken alongside antibiotics, with doses spaced a few hours apart, to help maintain gut microbiota during treatment.
- Capsules can be swallowed whole with water; for children or those who struggle to swallow, the contents may be mixed with a little cool or lukewarm water or soft food.
- 10-capsule blister pack suitable for occasional episodes and easy to carry in a bag or travel kit.
- Suitable for adults and children over 2 years; gluten-free, but each capsule contains a small amount of lactose.
