The Uranotest Canine Distemper and Adenovirus kit is a diagnostic tool designed for the simultaneous detection and differentiation of distemper virus and canine adenovirus antigens in conjunctival and nasal secretions from dogs. This test uses an immunochromatographic technique that provides accurate qualitative results in a short period of time, typically between 5 and 10 minutes.

Each box contains five individual tests, which include everything needed for sample collection: swabs, tubes with diluent buffer, disposable pipettes, and an instruction pamphlet. With a high sensitivity of 98.8% for distemper and 94% for adenovirus, as well as specificities of 97.7% and 97% respectively, it is an essential tool in veterinary clinics for quickly assessing dogs' health and their potential infectiousness.

Urano Uranotest Distemper and Adenovirus 5 Test The Uranotest Distemper and Adenovirus is a rapid and reliable diagnostic kit for the simultaneous detection and differentiation of distemper virus and canine adenovirus antigens in conjunctival and nasal secretions of dogs. This test employs an immunochromatographic technique that provides qualitative results within 5-10 minutes. Each box contains five individual tests with everything needed for sample collection: swabs, tubes with diluent buffer, disposable pipettes, and an instruction leaflet. Its dual-zone design allows for distinguishing between Distemper and Adenovirus in a single test. With high sensitivity and specificity compared to PCR (Distemper: sensitivity 98.8% and specificity 97.7%; Adenovirus: sensitivity 94% and specificity 97%), it is an essential tool in veterinary clinics for quick differential diagnosis of respiratory forms and assessing the infectious potential of the animal. Usage Instructions Collect the conjunctival or nasal sample with the included swab, deposit it into the tube with buffer, and mix according to the leaflet instructions; apply the indicated amount of sample onto the test well, wait for capillary migration, and read the result after 5-10 minutes by checking for the appearance of the control line (C) and, if positive, the corresponding test line (T) for the detected pathogen.
