Effitix is an external antiparasitic designed for dogs, available in easy-to-use pipettes, providing four weeks of protection against fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and phlebotomines. Each pipette is formulated with Fipronil and Permethrin, active ingredients that work by contact, effectively and rapidly eliminating parasites.

This product is especially useful in areas where leishmaniasis risk exists, as it prevents mosquito bites. Effitix is suitable for dogs weighing between 1.5 and 4 kg, and its application is straightforward, requiring monthly use.

Its effectiveness remains even after rain or bathing, and it does not affect the dog’s health when used according to the instructions.

It is also important to note that Effitix should not be used on cats or rabbits, nor on sick or very young dogs.

    Virbac Effitix 1.5-4 Kg XS 24 Pipettes Effitix is an external antiparasitic in pipette form for dogs weighing 1.5 to 4 kg, offering up to four weeks of protection against fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and sandflies. Formulated with fipronil and permethrin, it acts by contact, rapidly eliminating parasites and helping to prevent vector-borne diseases such as leishmaniasis. Its formula is distributed across the skin within 24 hours and remains effective even after rain or bathing, provided the usage instructions are followed. These individually packaged presentations facilitate monthly application and reduce the risk of flea bite dermatitis; additionally, Effitix is available in various weight ranges to ensure the correct dose. Do not use on cats or rabbits; it is not indicated for puppies under 12 weeks or dogs weighing less than 1.5 kg, nor in sick or convalescent animals. Directions for Use Select the pipette according to weight (1.5–4 kg) and apply a single pipette directly onto the skin at two points: the base of the neck and at the withers; for larger dogs, apply in 2–4 points along the back. Break the tip of the pipette, part the hair down to the skin, and squeeze the contents gently onto the skin. Repeat every 4 weeks or as directed by a veterinarian. Precautions Keep out of reach of children, store in the original packaging below 30°C, and use immediately after opening; avoid contact with the animal's eyes or mouth. Do not bathe the dog within 48 hours after application, and avoid contact with cats, as the product is extremely toxic to them.
