It provides protection against fleas and ticks, helping to prevent vector-borne diseases such as babesiosis, ehrlichiosis, anaplasmosis, and Lyme disease. The product acts quickly: fleas are eliminated within the first 8 hours and ticks within 48 hours of exposure, contributing to reducing home infestations. The tablet is tasty and easy to administer, can be given with or without food, and its effect lasts approximately one month per tablet. It is supplied in packages with 3 chewable tablets designed for monthly dosing in dogs weighing 25–50 kg; the route of administration is oral, and the pharmaceutical form is a chewable tablet. Its efficacy includes activity against various species of adult ticks and fleas, and it helps control flea allergy dermatitis. Directions for Use Administer one tablet orally every 4 weeks according to the dog’s weight (XL format suitable for 25–50 kg); it can be given with or without food and is palatable to facilitate administration. Precautions Do not use in dogs with known hypersensitivity to afoxolaner or excipients; consult a veterinarian before use during pregnancy or lactation; its safe use has not been demonstrated in puppies under 8 weeks of age or under 2 kg; mild adverse reactions such as pruritus, lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, or neurological signs may occur in rare cases.
