Elanco Advantix 0 - 4 Kg 1 Pipette X 0.4 ml Advantix pipette for dogs (0 - 4 kg) designed for puppies and mini dogs starting at 8 weeks of age. Its formula contains imidacloprid and permethrin, acting as an insecticide, acaricide, and repellent against fleas, ticks, lice, and mosquitoes, providing quick elimination of fleas within 24 hours and ticks within 48 hours, with protection lasting up to 4 weeks. In addition to acting as an insecticide, it also functions as a repellent, reducing the risk of disease transmission through vectors, such as leishmaniasis. Application is straightforward: apply the entire contents of the pipette at four points along the dorsal line, from the shoulders to the base of the tail; part the hair to expose the skin and gently press the tip of the pipette onto the skin to empty the product. It is recommended to avoid bathing the dog with shampoo at least two weeks before or after application to maximize efficacy. Precautions Do not use on cats (highly toxic to them); do not administer to puppies younger than 7–8 weeks; avoid use on animals with known hypersensitivity to imidacloprid, permethrin, or the formulation; safe for pregnant or lactating females; avoid intense and prolonged water exposure after application and follow your veterinarian’s instructions if you have any questions or reactions.
