Elanco Advantix 10-25 Kg 24 Pipettes Advantix 10-25 kg is an external antiparasitic treatment by Elanco designed for medium-sized dogs weighing between 10 and 25 kg. Each package contains 24 pipettes with imidacloprid (250 mg) and permetrin (1250 mg), providing comprehensive protection against fleas, ticks, biting lice, sandflies, mosquitos, and stable flies, acting as an insecticide, acaricide, and repellent to reduce the risk of vector-borne diseases such as leishmaniasis. Advantix kills fleas and prevents their multiplication for up to four weeks, repels and eliminates ticks, and protects against mosquitos, sandflies, and stable flies. It is water-resistant, maintaining efficacy after contact with water, although prolonged and frequent exposure to water is recommended to be avoided. It is not suitable for cats and should only be used on dogs following veterinary instructions. Directions for Use Apply the contents of one pipette directly onto the dog's skin, distributing the solution at four points along the dorsal line from the shoulders to the base of the tail; the minimum recommended dose is 10 mg/kg of imidacloprid and 50 mg/kg of permetrin; wait for the application site to dry before allowing contact with children and treat all the dogs in the household for complete protection. Precautions Do not use on cats; avoid contact with the animal's eyes and mouth; keep treated dogs away from cats for 48 hours if there is direct contact or licking; transient local reactions (itching, redness, hair loss) may be observed, or, in rare cases, neurological or gastrointestinal symptoms in sensitive animals.
